Isn’t 7 625.563? Not 625056
(edited 5 years ago)
For 1) can you write 4rt2 as a decimal as that’s what my calculator gave me it in ??
Original post by Manuster
This is right

Lol I kept plugging it in and I kept getting 7175.7??

no as r is -0.9 so 1-(-0.9) is 1.9

but as r<1 you need to take the modulus and therefore it’s 1-|-.09| which is 1-0.9? then 10000x0.1 is 1000.

1) (2,2) and (6,4rt2)
b) r=51.413
2) 128 + 448x +672k^2x^2 +560k^3x^3
b) k=1.5
3) proof
b) a+b=21
c) b=31 a=-10
d) 24x^2 - 34x + 31
4) Area = 8.75
b) Flag area=20.02
c) 26.79
5) centre-(1,-7)
b) r=5rt2
c) y=0 and y=-14
d) x+7y-2=0
6) a=19000
b) U5=12465.9
c) S12=7176
7) y=625056
a) proof
b) x=1/3
8) x=248.6 , 331.4 (degrees)
ii) theta= 0.258 , 2.89 , 3.48 , 5.94
9) A(4,112)
b) (25/4,0)
c) r=79.77

(btw I tutor even over Skype msg me for details)

If i got 100% until question 9 and got most of 9 wrong is it still possible to get an A?

-0.9 is less than 1?
Isn’t 8(I) 0.253 radians (3 significant figures)

yeah? that’s what i said
I got the wrong value of A for the sequence one, is there likely to be error carried forward?
Original post by IgnoreMyName
Im pretty sure With A at 19,000, R=-0.9 and the sum of the first 12 terms, putting them together into the equation, you get 12824.29356. Not the 7,176 whatever you wrote..
6c) Is surely wrong, because i keep plugging it in, and i get the same 12,824 not 7176

Anyone who got 7176 has failed it’s deep

You’re a tutor? Did you take the exam? Or are you a teacher??
Basically want to know if you have the actual exam paper on you. Can’t remember the question so if you have it it would rly help
7176 is right

Would 71 marks be guaranteed 100 UMS?
I got 120 something for the very last question
what was the sequence part b and part c out of please

No it says that r is less than 1... 1>-0.9

So what's the issue?
