If you block a number ???
So I have blocked some numbers of some old “friends” loosely using that phrase and they have somehow contacted / got through to me on WhatsApp can someone explain how this happens as I thought WhatsApp uses your contacts ?

Whatsapp only uses your contacts to read into who you would be interested in adding I think??? It definitely doesn’t know if you’ve blocked them, so you’ll need to block them on Whatsapp as well.
