Legal Application Writing Help

Hey guys, I'm applying for legal work with law firms. How can I structure my writing to hit the nail on the head every time? I'm finding it hard to find a 'skeleton' for the applications, and feel like I'm at risk of randomly chucking information in.

E.g. for including my work experience in a CV, should I:
a. introduce the organisation/role
b.alternate between task completed/skill developed as many times as necessary
c. link back to the firm

This is an example of a 'skeleton' I've considered using. Any ways to improve?

Cheers,
Alex

Don’t do what you have suggested. It’s a really odd approach.

It really depends on the matter in which you are applying (speculative applications vs formal application), the manner in which you are applying and what the firm in question are asking you to provide

Hey, thanks for replying! Could I ask how you think it's an odd approach and what you'd do differently? As an example, if I had experience from some organisation, I'd say they 1) did X work 2) I learnt X skills which 3) links to the firm because...

It isn’t as simple as this. It really depends on how you are applying.

Typically 2 and 3 aren’t really needed though. They are typically obvious

So you'd only state the main responsibilities in that role, and leave out what you gained from it in your skillset? Thanks for your guidance.

As I said, it depends on what you are being asked to provide.

If the skill set is obvious, then I don’t think it is needed. It’s only if it isn’t obvious then it might be worthwhile highlighting

Providing work history + 'details' on a formal application.
