Semi circles edexcel
Do we need to know the circumference of a semi circle for foundation edexcel?
You just use the circumference of a circle 2TTr and then divide it by 2.
I learnt that you do the circumference of a circle and then divide it by 2 but then add the diameter?

Yes that’s right if you need to find the perimeter of a semicircle. It’s not necessarily something that you “need to know” but they expect you to be able to work it out if they ask you it in an exam. They could ask for the perimeter of a whole variety of shapes and expect you to apply your knowledge to work out the perimeter/area.
