Linear interpolation S1 vs FP1
which method of using linear interpolation is right for S1?
I’m used to this equation from my fp1 textbook:

However all S1 textbooks and marking schemes use this:

In afraid I’ll use method marks if I use the wrong equation, but I’m so used to using the other equation, in likely to confuse myself during the exam if I switch. Can someone clarify if the FP1 equation can be used for S1?
