When you say B do you mean raw or standardised? Because if it's raw then that would become like a high A!

I'm really worried about this paper; I'm dreading the comprehension bit. I don't even know if there's any point in revising for it: either I don't revise and do awful, or I do revise and just do bad. Hmm.

Does anyone know where i can find what the grade boundaries were for the past papers?

And when put into UMS, is 80% always an A? So if grade boundaries are lower, do they give you more UMS for each mark? If that makes sense.

Look at the past examiners reports. Should say at the bottom.

Wow, 47/80 was an A last year, not that bad.

Thats as good as i can get it, hope it helps.

The average is around 56 out of 80, which isnt that bad.

i think ppl taking this exam should prepare quite alot for this paper coz the way phy 5 was i think phy6 will be a beast compared to that one :| :frown:

how did everyone find phy 4 and phy 5? i thought phy 4 was ok but phy 5 was impossible!

im very worried about synoptic... is everyone learning the accelerators and other synthesis stuff in lots of detail?
