16 to 18 card?

Just wondering when and where I would get my 16 to 18 card from, do you recieve it before or after you FE begins?

I just need to know in terms of my Buspass. Cheers in advance.

It depends. If you are going to start FE in September and you dont have an 11 - 15 oyster card yet, then youll have to wait till september.

If you are still at secondary school (yr11) and you become 16 in September for example, then you can still get an 16+ as long as you get your school to sign and stamp it as a proof that you will study there for a full academic year, but I think you would need to turn sixteen at the beginning of the year, like in September or October because if you turn sixteen in, lets say May, you will move school in September therefore you won't be there for a full academic year.

I got my 16+ application form from my local post office. Everything is explained on the application form.
