i got 60 something

Kindly enlighten me how you got this result 😭
what did you do? what did you use as mass?

I used q=mct. Then divided by 1000. We're we given the moles? I can't remember

i think mine is wrong for sure so idk

We were given mass of hydrated and anhydrous salt. we were given volume of as 45.5 and 50. there was no moles idk

did u use 8 for mass?
what i did was calculated q then converted it into kJ then divided it by number of moles and got kJmol-1 idk

I used 50 because density = 1g/dm^3.

Wow. I am quite stupid. Messed up big time on that one

No I used 50

I messed up too. Problem is its exothermic so it’ll be -(whatever u got) which would affect ur Hess law result. And i forgot about the negative sign

I can comfortably say I lost a solid 8 marks

Not thaaaaat much harder. But it was very easy to make mistakes on that paper. At least for me. All the guys I know that sat the paper said it was harder though

What did you write for why is it hard to measure temp in forward and backward reaction
I got the same too i think

idk if this is correct, but I wrote that harder because it is difficult to measure the temperature of a solid
and the backward one was endo so it was hard to know when the reaction started

Something about measuring the temperature change of a solid. And the disappearance and appearance of a liquid

that makes sense
