Hi- have any UK applicants still not heard anything or been rejected yet?? I'm getting seriously stressed and I don't know whether to give up hope yet or keep waiting. I've been checking my email non stop since I submitted my portfolio on the 7th of feb and I sent them 4 emails with no reply. If anyone has any info please share!!

Got an offer! a couple of days ago! I am an international student and applied for the 3d pathway. The weird thing is I was never invited for an interview. I wonder if this is normal?

I got an offer beginning of March and I also wasn’t called for an interview! Still curious as to why that was

CSM don't interview overseas students, they base their decision on your digital portfolio - this is normal practice for them. They usually interview a selection of UK based students whom they have shortlisted, but this year some of these interviews didn't take place in person due to the coronavirus.

The foundation course at CSM has over 500 students on it.. Roughly half overseas and half home / EU. The 35/35 you mention will most likely just relate to the fashion textiles pathway, although I would say it would be more like 100 total for that pathway with a 50/50 ratio.

Sounds about right. There are 5 sections in the foundation - diagnostic, then the 4 specialisms. So around 70-100 per specialism with more in the diagnostic at the start of the course.

I worked with a private tutor who helped me to understand how to put together a portfolio specific to the course I applied for. I would recommend, as this kind of insight was really helpful.
