Get your money back from SCAM model agencies.

One thing you can do is find a mediator or solicitor to act on your behalf but before you even do that.

You can warn the agency you have paid money to who has not found you any work, that unless they refund you in full, or provide EVIDENCE THAT THEY HAVE SUBMITTED YOU FOR WORK AND GENUINELY ATTEMPTED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH WORK... to sufficient measure over the period of time you've been registered with them, then they'll be hearing from a legal professional representing you within 2 weeks.

Then they should either email you evidence or comply to refunding. I would proceed with finding a "no win no fee" or low cost reputable mediator to email them on your behalf warning of pursuit and legal action should they continue refusal. Requesting refund in full.

The key is, the agencies always say "we never guaranteed you WORK." BUT they did offer you ASSISTANCE and you must insist they provide EVIDENCE of submissions and contacting clients on your behalf to find you castings, auditions etc. To Sufficient amount of effort worth the time and money you've invested.

If they can't, it means they've not put in sufficient effort and therefore the service is of low quality or non existent and therefore DEFINITELY should refund your service fees paid.

Often there is almost no chance of getting the money back, without wasting more time and money.

A lot of these agencies are dodgy, unincorporated 1-2 person companies renting a room and desk from week to week.
They ask to be paid in cash, keep their bills low (website/phone number/rent) and have limited assets.
Rely on scamming under £200 from large numbers of people each week.
Then "disappear" before they attract lawsuits/too much negative publicity and relocate to another address or suite with a new name.
