Manchester Accommodation First Year

So I have an unconditional offer from Manchester, but I'm still waiting on decisions from other universities, so I have not responded to my offer yet. Can I apply for accommodation even though I have not responded to their offer or do I have to wait until I respond to their offer to apply?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Im an international student so I'm not sure about UK accommodation.

Generally, you should apply once you've made your mind up. UoM Accommodation Office may insist that you have accepted the offer before they further your application for accommodation. I would contact the Accommodation Office directly (even if it's an anonymous call) and for the best advice.

Hi there, have you think about student halls outside the uni, there are much more choices and the rooms and facilities are usually much newer than the uni ones. And you can select the perfect room on your own budget and demands.

I am an UoM graduate and I am now working for Stuliving, an agent specialised in finding the right accommodations for uni student, FOR FREE.
We have wide selection of student halls in Manchester, if you'd like my help and eventually book via us, you can even have cashback after the application done.

Feel free to contact me for any further enquiry.

Thanks for the offer. I think for my first year, I would be more comfortable staying in university accommodation just because it’s a new country.
