quick biology question

is it right to say the human being a creation of evolution?
So much could be written about this, but in essence, yes - however, the word 'creation' has connotations of being designed which isn't true and maybe not the best word to use.

Natural selection leads to the production of individuals that are better suited to their environments - yes - however, the process is not necessarily perfect e.g. blind spot in the mammalian eye. This is mainly due to the fact that natural selection can't go backwards, it acts upon what is currently there and improves it but doesn't necessarily remove every imperfection. The 'fittest' that survive are the fittest - but they are not necessarily perfect.

My point is natural selection doesn't have a conscious. It wont think "Okay, for this environment I think we need a species that can do ..... and needs to have ..... etc etc", a.k.a natural selection doesn't consciously create species. It's a constantly on-going process.

A better way to put it is Humans are a product of natural selection.
