Veterinary clinical pharmacologist

I am currently studying biology, chemistry and maths in year 13. At this moment in time I am still undecided on what degree I would like to peruse and upon looking at pharmacology I came across veterinary pharmacology. I have taken a keen interest to this career and I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what degree and further education I would need in order to do this. It is too late for me to do vet med at uni as I didn’t do the early entry exams so was wondering if there is another way around this maybe starting with a degree in pharmacology or something along those lines? Many thanks in advance

If vet med is what you want to do DON'T DO ANOTHER DEGREE FIRST UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO! That shouldn't be your plan B, C, D or even E. You only get a government loan for your first degree, so unless you have 50 grand lying around, I'd take a gap year and just apply next year. I was in the same position last year.
