22% turnitin score

Hi, i recently submitted a piece of work and it came up with a score of 22%. I referenced everything in my paper and its mostly 1% from sources. The plagiarism is mainly generic statements which are bound to be used in other pieces of work. Some similarity comes from words like "multiple sclerosis" or "base excision repair" i have correctly cited and referenced, the last assignment i submitted was the same it gave me a score 21% but my lecturer marked it and i scored quite well. Do you think this score will be an issue? Any help would be great. Thanks!
Are the generic statements that were flagged for similarity from the sources you referenced. If not, you shouldn't have an issue because there's only so many ways you can write the same statement. If they are, maybe consider re-wording them a little more next time. The names of either things you're talking about or names of references you have used always tend to get flagged for similarity, but there's no way of avoiding that!
