Simplest whole number !
Sorry for the dumb question. Trying to help my daughter out with some test papers
she has a question where they give lots of ratios and they say 'write the simplest whole number ratio for each one'
one is 2.5: 1. thats easy 5:2. correct
another one is 1:2.67 and they say the answer is 4:3 !
Sorry but I cant work out how they get that answer ?

1:2.67 does not simplify to 4:3!

Yep I agree it would be
1:2.67 likely represents 1:8/3, so multiply both sides by 3
If not then it would be 100:267
