Assuming you have a diagram...
When the brakes are applied the force in the tow-bar, T, is now directed outwards (thrust), so swap the arrows.
Try using Newton's second law on each body separately, expect to get negative acceleration since the system is decelerating.
note that the brake force is only acting on the car.

the forces on the car are the brake force F, the resistance which is unchanged at 200N and the thrust of the towbar which is 100N.

the forces on the trailer are just the resistance which is unchanged at 100N and the thrust of the towbar which is 100N

since you know the masses of the two objects you can find their accelerations.
