# Couple interesting maths problemsWatch

#1
1) A rail track is 1 mile long (5280 feet). One day a joker lays a an extra 1 foot of track in the middle (don't ask how) and the track is now an arc of length 5281 feet. What is the maximum height from the ground to the track. *Calculator needed*

2) 3^x = 1000000
Find x
I'll give you a clue... don't use logs.

1,000,000 = 10*10*10*10*10*10

10= 3^2.1

sooo 6 times 2.1 = 12.6 so isit 3^12.6 ?
