For 1a why can’t you just do 𝐮 x 𝐯 (3,1,-1)x(2,-5,-4)=6-5+4=5? Because he notes say you have to use the cross product

Sorry this might sound really stupid but did you get that from the fact that it’s a x sign instead of a dot sign?
