Kinematics- Vectors

Two ships A and B set out from a port O at midnight. Ship A travels due north at 18kmh while ship B travels due east at 12kmh.
a) find the position vector of A at time t.
b)Find the position vector of ship B at time t
c) find the vector <BA in terms of t.
d) find how far apart the two ships are at 1:00am
e)Find the bearing of ship B from ship A at this time.

Part a) *I think* using r=ro+vt is r=oi+oj+ t(oi+18j) therefore r= 18jt ?
part b) similarly i think using r=ro+vt r= (oi+oj)+ t(12i+oj) r=12it ?
Part c,d,e I dont know where to start if any one can confirm the above and help with the rest. Thankssssssssss
I have worked out d and e using pythagoras and trig.

Part c) <BA = BO+OA = -12i+18j Why does the answer need to include t?

Answer (-12i+18j)t

Answer (-12i+18j)t

For c) the position vectors are functions of time, like suvat. So theyre moving at 12/18 km/h so their positions are 12t, 18t with appropriate vector stuff ...

Are you still unsure about the other parts?
