You should post this in the Maths forum rather than Mathematics which is for uni course discussion :smile:

This is basically a differentiation chain rule question - you're given an expression for dV/dt and they give you a helpful formula for volume in terms of 'h' so you want to aim to get dh/dt somewhere in your working.
