how do you calculate the minimum length of a DNA base sequence

If you have the number of amino acid present then it is pretty easy to calculate. So for ex. if a protien's primary sequence has 100 amino acids then all you need to do to calculate the minimum length of a DNA base sequence is 100 x 3 = 300.

Because each amino acid is made from 3 base/codons hence the x 3.
