Hi, i'm applying for media production, studying media, psychology and performing arts, and am predicted a merit (btec), and two A's. After the recent set of mocks i'm well aware i wouldn't be getting close to double A's, and would probably be sitting on two B's. My UCAS predicted's are A's so im worried that if I was to get a conditional offer of two A's and a merit, I wouldn't be able to work up to that level? What is the possibility that I would get rejected if I was to end up getting the B's? Any kind of advice would be useful x

Hi Ed 🙂

The entry requirements for Media Production are 104-120 UCAS tariff points, which equates to BCC-BBB, or in BTECs, DMM.

Based on what you've said, it's definitely worth you applying as our admissions team look at all applications on an individual basis!

If you have any other questions, you can contact our course enquiries team on 0151 231 5090 or [email protected].

More details on the entry requirements for Media Production are found here, under the Entry Requirements tab - https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/study/courses/undergraduates/2024/35408-media-production-ba-hons

Hi, I am a student from Northern Ireland and I have applied for adult nursing I have an offer on the conditions that I pass my essential skills level 2 maths! However, there has been an issue within my school where we have not been entered to sit the examination three times because our teacher had entered us too late in the year. I have only been able to sit my essential skills maths twice and not able to do a third attempt even though all students are permitted to attempt the examination three times. This is because the results for my second attempt haven’t come in and you need a result to see if you pass or fail in order too see if you need a resit. The results only come out in August however there is no examinations for the level 2 maths in August in the case I do not pass and want to do a third attempt to try and achieve a pass. So I’m not able to do so. However I also applied earlier in the year to sit my gcse maths and I have just done my GSCE maths examinations today as well but I am not sure how that went because I am really not good and maths and feel that I did not do so well on my second attempt of the level 2 maths but I am not able to get a third go. so I am worried that because of this I will not be accepted into the university as this is something I’m so excited about but my maths could let me down. Is there anything that could be done about this such as trying to do a level 2 examination for maths at the start of the school year in Liverpool? Sorry if it’s so confusing I just need some guidance! Thank you

hi, international applicant here who applied for a year 3 transfer from one of your partner institutes. so i accepted my offer through the accept button in the received email. it was a conditional offer with the conditions being i agree to the terms and regulations. my applicant hub shows conditional firm as my application status. the last email i received was about declaration of criminal history. whats the next step? what else do i have to do in order to receive the CAS letter?
