Hi! I am completing my UCAS application to study psychology with criminology in order to become a forensic psychologist. First question, would this be the correct path to take for my end goal? And, which university would be better for social life, campus living etc.? Thank you and good luck to any 2024 applicants😁

Ideally, to become a forensic psychologist, your degree needs to be BPS accredited. There is more information about the qualificiations and experience required on the following link:

The BSc (Hons) Criminology and Psychology course at LJMU is professionally-accredited by the British Psychological Society so this would be a huge boost to your future employability! My advice would be to compare the courses at the universities you are interested in, as some will differ on things like assessments, module choices etc. You can see the LJMU page here - https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/study/courses/undergraduates/2024/32838-criminology-and-psychology-bsc-hons
In terms of student life here at LJMU, our campuses are both in the city centre, so there's loads to do within walking distance! We also guarantee accommodation for our new students, and there's a range to choose from. The John Moores Student Union has a huge selection of societies to join too, from Taylor Swift to true crime - find out more here https://www.jmsu.co.uk
