Liverpool Uni Dover Court Accommodation

I've accepted my Dover Court accommodation offer for 23/24. Is anyone else going to be in Dover Court? I feel like it's not a very talked-about accommodation. Like, I really can't find much talking about it apart from the accommodation page on the Uni of Liverpool website haha.

So I'm hoping someone else who applied for it will see this post bc atp it feels like there's no one lmao

It's not open to first years hence why - it's just for older students, so you're unlikely to find people here but I'm sure you will meet them soon!

Hi there,

As Sandtrooper has said, it is likely to be because it is only for postgraduate students. There is many more UG students on here, hence you might not hear much about it. The halls are more or less full ever year so there will be plenty of others in there.

Also finding almost 0 people talking about Dover. The FB group only has 15 members joined so far for 23/24.

Accommodation can sometimes be sorted out late. Also, not as many returning or postgraduate students feel the need to socialise and meet their flatmates.

I'm in the Facebook group! I finally found it the other day haha. But yeah, its quite barren. I'm guessing its just because it's returning/postgrad so people are less inclined to socialise like this than first years bc they probs have friend groups to stick with?

I think there is likely to be lots of people who have just moved to Liverpool for their post-grad living in the halls! So I think it was a good option for you - I hope you are looking forward to moving in and starting your course.
