many unis do allow resits, some require you to obtain a higher than usual grade in your resit (e.g. an A* when the requirement is normally an A), or they may have a minimum first time round grades achieved e.g. minimum ABB in your first sitting. what grades did you get? i would suggest resitting instead of doing grad entry, because grad entry is way more competitive.
