Whilst I'm mainly aiming for the STP, I'm also potentially considering graduate medicine. At the moment, I'm looking at biomedical science for undergraduate, but as a result of personal circumstances I'm not too sure on how my grades will be this year so I'm looking at foundation year courses! I was just wondering if I did do a foundation course, even if I performed well in it, would it hinder my chances of graduate-entry medicine?
I think I'll definitely have to resit my AS' (WJEC), but I'm also doing A2 biology, and I'm sure this grade has also been impacted upon by my circumstances (maybe a C...). I'm not sure I can resit A2 biology, so that's why I've been considering the foundation year. Like, is it possible or a good idea to resit 2 (potentially 3) of my AS' and A2 biology as well as doing the normal A2 exams of my other subjects? I'm sure I can prepare for it if I don't sleep (insert nervous laugh here) but is it possible? Which pathway would be favoured more by graduate-entry medicine, or even STP? Really wish WJEC didn't scrap the winter resits...
