Kingston University: Freshers' Week 2023 Coming Soon!

With only a little over a week before Kingston University's Freshers' Week kicks off, it's a great time to pick up your Freshers Wristband from The Union of Kingston Students!

On top of the typical KU Freshers' Fair, which will take place on the 20th September (10am-5pm) across the Penrhyn Road campus, the Student Union have an array of other events and activities that you can take part in, with the current schedule as follows:

18th Sep: Ballie Ballerson
19th Sep: Crazy Golf
20th Sep: Freshers’ Fair (as always, free to attend!)
21st Sep: Carni-Ball
21st Sep: Freshers Football Tournament
22nd Sep: Laser Tag On Campus
23rd Sep: Gallery Lates 2
24th Sep: Night at the movies

Wristbands cost £55, saving you a whopping £40 in total and giving you access to the entire lineup of experiences and nights out. However, if only one or two of the events catch your eye - that's okay! You can book events individually for a reduced price, saving you a bit of dosh and allowing you to fit Freshers' around your own schedule.

The best thing about Freshers' Week is that all the money generated goes right back into the Student Union itself, which aims to improve your experience as students here at KU and provides you with countless services, such as guiding you through the academic appeal process and supporting your sports clubs and societies. Of course, it's also a great way to make new friends and meet people from across all KU campuses, as well as to develop some long-lasting memories with your flatmates or coursemates.

Wristbands can be collected from the first event, or on campus throughout the week - if you're interested in buying one, head to https://www.kingstonfreshers.com/.

If you've any questions, feel free to drop them down below as always.

- Eve (Kingston Rep).
