How do I do this maths problem

Simplify x(2x^-1/4)^4.

I am really stuck please help me
Check out the laws/rules of indices and it'll become clearer. But I'll get you started:

x(2x^-1/4)^4 is equal to x(2x^((-1/4)*4)). Hopefully you can now see what you need to do next and how to simplify it?
Yes thankyou this helped me a lot
