I give up on maths

This is my 5th GCSE Math retake since I wasn't able to score a grade 4. I have no desire to pass maths as I was never interested about this topic. I have other life goals that I want to pursue. I'm scared that I will not be accepted into any further education due to my poor math results. Is math really important?

Hi there,

I am sorry to hear you have struggled in the maths area. It's okay to focus on other talents as maths is not everyone's strong suit.

In terms of further education it will really depend on what you want to do. Some university degrees, apprenticeships etc may require you to have at least a 4 or 5 at GCSE maths in order to study them. If you have a goal in mind, I would recommend looking into your route options to see if this is necessary or if you can continue without it.

Good luck with everything,
