FM mechanics CoM Q
shape is a rectangle attached to a rod
question says "the lamina has a weight of 1N per unit area" and "the weight of the rod is !n per unit length"
rod has length 4m
Does this mean that the rod/rectangle is uniform? ie i can just take the coordinates of the center of the respective shapes and multiply by the area to get the weighted CoM (using the standard equation)
