Titration aqa chem a level

Hi, if I make a volumetric solution for the acid does that mean the aim of the titration is to work out the concentration of the acid or the base?

Both solutions need to be volumetric.
There are four variable quantities:

Concentration of acid

Volume of acid

Concentration of base

Volume of base

After you do the titration 3 of these quantities will be known.

If the acid and base react in a 1:1 proportion, something that you can see in the balanced equation.

Then:
CAVA= CBVB

By substituting in the three known values you can determine the unknown.
