ELEVATE Programme for Black Home Students

ELEVATE is an accelerator programme at Kingston University for Black home students offering support, guidance and tools to achieve their full potential and equip them with skills required for the job market.

It has two areas of focus - student-focused and employer-focused. The programme runs throughout the year, providing a community of support for our students.

ELEVATE runs industry related panels, allowing students to gain insight into the experiences of Black professionals and graduates; employer insight days and skill development workshops.

Since its founding in 2020, ELEVATE has offered support to hundreds of students across the university.

ELEVATE was named best widening participation initiative of the year in 2022 at the National Undergraduate Employability Awards, having also won the accolade for best diversity, equality and inclusion programme at the Global Careers Summit in its first year.
