Investment Banking or Investment Banking Lawyer (Risk, Compliance & Regulation)

Hello guys!

About a year ago, I made the decision to switch my career path from corporate law to investment banking.

In line with this decision of mine, I have been making strategic moves to gain an internship in one of the Bulge Brackets & Boutique Investment Banks in the UK.

I got rejected by them all the companies that I applied to.

Now, I am thinking of switching my role application from Corporate Investment Banking Division to Risk and Compliance Division. I had a fellow law colleague who got a summer internship in BofA Risk Division.

I'm a bit confused. What do you think guys??
