IGCSE Physics Center of Mass

Could you please explain why B is the correct answer? I thought that in order to decide whether an object will topple over, I just have to see if the center of mass line is within the base of the object. Please explain this to me! :frown:

When it's at equilibrium it's right at the point of toppling - the CoM is directly above the point if support and it could topple in either direction.
It'd be classed as unstable equilibrium.
