I just got my mock paper back, I was 74.4% and the next grade up was 75%. I looked at the mark scheme and my answers and I’d written literally what the mark scheme was indicating. However when I asked my teacher why I had not been given the marks, she said it’s because I write too much, the question was: write an impact on businesses following legal obligations. So I said that they wouldn’t have to face legal action, i then went on to say that if the employees feel they are being treated fairly they are more likely to work harder and be more efficient. The mark scheme was indicating to the second point. She said she stopped marking after my first point and as an examiner was taught that she can do that? But I didn’t go over the lines provided, and the answer was correct. Can someone clarify this? As it’s a new ball game if I wrote the answer and still can’t get the marks? Thanks
