I don't get this

The equation of a line is ax + by = c. If the value of some point on the line is d, what is the full coordinate of the point, in terms of a, b, c, d?

i'd assume first thing you would do is rearrange the equation to make y the subject so ax + by = c > by = -ax +c
then into y = (-ax +c) / b so that would be your y co-ord
and then for the x co-ord rearrange in terms of x > ax = -by + c then into x = (-by +c) / a

therefore making d = ( (-by+ c) / a , (-ax + c) / b ) ?
honestly i've not seen a question quite like that so i'm not too sure how correct that is but it's how i would approach the question, hope it helps
Would you mind clarifying what "the value of some point on the line is d" means? This description doesn't really make sense.
