LSE Accomodation for Postgrads

Hi All,
Im an International student and have acceptance from LSE for Masters in Dev Studies starting Sep 2024
1. Most of the halls I see in LSE Website are for undergrad students or are preferring undergrad students. Which halls are preferable for postgrad ? And also which private halls can anyone recommend, like Chapters etc (they seem rather expensive !).
2. The course duration is Sep 2024 to Sep 2025. So do I need to book 50/51 weeks acco ? Seems a waste of a month's cost if I dont plan to be in London in summers. What do postgrad students usually book for ?

hi, not sure if you already booked, but there are halls for postgrads (ex. High Holborn, Butler, Sidney..) and unfortunatly some of the halls have only 39/40 weeks contract, so I am thinking the only option is to apply to extent your stay for the remaining 10 weeks (might be assigned to a different hall tho)
