i can simplify it to 3x^5/4 but im not sure on how to 4th root the 3

Why do you think you need to "4th root the 3" ?

Presumably the original is 18x5/46x\dfrac{18x^{5/4}}{6x} so as you say you can divide the 6 into the 18.

What can you do to simplify x5/4x\dfrac{x^{5/4}}{x} ?
