I have the same question. I’m applying for the DPhil in IR at Oxford this 2025/2026. I got an MSc with Distinction from a Russell Group school (70, with 84 in my thesis). I also got an MA in Political Science from the US (with the hope of getting to a US PhD, but realised that it’s not a good fit). What I’m concerned is the GPA of my US MA is ~3.5, which is above the threshold at Oxford. Can my UK master save me from the cut-off?
