When a character limit is specified, it usually includes spaces. To count characters, you can use online tools or the word count feature in word processors. Aim for a well-structured personal statement, covering your experiences, motivations, and goals within the given character limit. If unsure about rounding off, it's advisable to stay slightly below the limit to avoid potential issues.
