UCAT booking. Advice needed.

Hi guys,
I want to ask a question related to booking the UCAT.

So, my parents are planning on going on holiday as a family during the summer (a long time 4/5 weeks) and this is why I want to sit the UCAT early on during the booking season and revise for it in June/July.

The first testing day is 11th July this year and I wanted to ask how often the tests available in a particular city. Does testing happen every day or only during the week?

I know most of you won't know this but if you booked the test early and you have any info please help.
Hey there, thanks for posting a question in the Medicine forum.

I did my UCAT on a Saturday so it’s not just week days! My advice would be to go on and book as soon as booking opens to give you the best chance of finding a suitable date. The number of tests available really just depends on the city and the size of the person vue test centre. Good luck!

I also did my test on a Saturday so defo not limited to only weekdays. In terms of how often tests are sat on a particular day or city, it depends on the centre and how big the city is e.g. centres in London will probably do more tests than in a smaller town or city. However, in my experience the very early and very late testing dates get booked very quickly as there are people who have holidays most often (some later and some earlier). But a week before my test date, UCAT website updated with more test dates later than mine which weren't available when I booked it. So perhaps people cancelled or something. Also if you've ever done a driving theory - it's run by the same company Pearson so you may get a general feel for how many candidates per day based on that. Anyhow you'd find out how often tests are if as soon as the UCAT booking opens, you go on and it and look on dates + timings. There wouldn't be many bookings made that early on so you may be able to figure out that way.
