It's no 'okay' but it's doable. You need to think very carefully, because there's no changing your mind again. And you won't be popular with the company you are leaving, but if you haven't started work or training, then chances are they won't do anything.

I haven't started it, the role starts in September which gives them plenty of time to find a replacement

If the job/training doesnt start until september, then its ok to leave them now. If it was nearer the time, or you had already started the job/any training then it wouldnt be the best. But doing it now is ok and it gives them plenty of chance to get a replacement.
