Work experience
Hi everyone, this will be my third time applying for veterinary after leaving uni in 2021! As I’ve been working full time this past year I don’t have any work experience over the last 18 months. I have around 150 hours but from 2021, will this matter? If I apply with 0 hours would RVC for example still give an offer under the condition I obtain some experience over the next year? (I fit all the other entry requirements) Thanks! ☺️
No RVC are very specific they require the 140hrs to be within 18months of your application, it is specifically stated on their website that it must all be done BEFORE you apply.
Other vet schools have more relaxed requirements but check all their websites before you apply and if in doubt contact them x
