What did you all get for the 1.5m string extension at instantaneous rest? I'm sure my answer is wrong...

The extension was 1.8? (I think). It was greater than 1.5 I am sure.

I think they asked for the distance from O.

I think I got 100 UMS unless I made a mistake in SHM last question. How did you show that the combined particle is travelling at SHM? I feel like it is too simple the way I did it.

Correct. I got the same. And then the final answer is 3.57 to 3 s.f.
