Hi guys. Me and a couple of other people are in the middle of setting up a poker society at Manchester. We're looking for anybody interested in the game, or interested in learning about the game to sign up. We need 30 people to be an official society.

We are looking for people at all levels, so whether you consistently play high stakes heads up against Isildur1, or if you have just seen it on telly and want to know more you will be welcome with open arms.

We'll be holding regular tournaments in Manchester so you can get used to the nuances of the live game if you've only ever played online. We will also offer beginner workshops teaching you basic strategy, how to deal properly, live game etiquette you'll be expected to know in a casino and we will answer any questions you may have.
