C2 Radian question

I don't know where to start with this. Any hints as to what formulas I should be thinking about?

The arc AB of a circle, centre O and radius rcm, is such that angle AOB = 0.5 radians. Given that the perimeter of the minor sector AOB is 30cm:

a) Calculate the value of r.

so perimeter would be 30= r+r + arc length arc length= r x feta

I think you mean theta. . .
Ok fair enough any ideas for this question? ^^^

Your idea is the correct method

Use the perimeter formula and re-arrange to make r the subject.
It's a matter of rearranging when dealing with these questions.

Use all the information give to you.

Use SophieL's method, add up all the bits and solve the equation you get for r

I still don't know how to figure it out. It seems like I have too little information. Please any more tips?

EDIT: figured it out, it was staring at me in the face and I missed it. Thanks guys!
