Biology B7 & Chemistry C7 past papers

Hi everyone, can anyone point me in the right direction for OCR Biology B7 Higher A163/02 and Chemistry C7 Higher A173/02 past papers please. I've only managed to download a specimen paper from OCR, but I believe there should be papers from last year? Would really appreciate any help you can give. Sue

Hi! There are no past papers for our OCR C7 and B7 exams as this is a new specification; the specimen is all there is! Here are the links to the old specification - I think that the content is similar but the style is different, i.e. no 6 mark questions:

Chemistry: http://www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications/gcse-twenty-first-century-science-suite-chemistry-a-j634-from-2006/

Biology: http://www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications/gcse-twenty-first-century-science-suite-biology-a-j633-from-2006/

Hope this helps

P.S. What marks have you got so far in the course?

Hi mohit01, thankyou for your help, I thought it was strange that I couldn't find any papers. My son has A grade for (B1,2,3) and B for (B4,5,6) and B for (C1,2,3) and C (C4,5,6). Chemistry is his weaker subject. Are you sitting these exams?
Does anyone here have the CGP revision guide for c7, p7, and b7, or even the separate science CGP guides which feature these sections? I need some help desperately..

Hi, sorry for the late reply-next time reply directly to my post and then I will get a notification. I'm taking both the exams as well. The old spec past papers are good but the style is very different and the content is slightly different too. Make sure that your son practices some of the longer (6 mark) questions as these are what will show the strong and weak candidates. Have you got the CGP revision guides. These are good, but also look at the specification so you know exactly what the modules cover; OCR are not allowed to ask about any topics not on the spec.
