1.2-1.4 ppm is peaks you'd find more in an alkane. You have an oxygen connected to the CH2 group, this will increase the ppm to be more like the CH2 in ethanol :smile:
OCHn typically has a shift of 3-4 ppm.

There should be standard HNMR shifts on online tables. I'll post a link to one, but it's by no means exhaustive.
