Integration by parts help

I know the Q could be done very easily, but I've just made it longer for myself. Nevertheless, I should've obtained the same answer. Having checked, I have no idea where I've made my mistake. I'm not sure if I "broke" a mathematical rule?

not many people will be prepared to look at three pages of algebra (particularly of poor photo quality), however

I did look at the question which I am going to steal it as it is very good (for this I thank you)
Your plan is not that great.
Go back at the very start.

look at 2sec2xtanx

doesn't it look preety?
why is there a 2 there?

that might give a clue for your parts ...
the whole solution is half a page of A4

What's the actual question. Can't see it clearly. Want to give it a try

Excellent!

I hope you saw what you meant to see ...

the "heavyweights" see d/dx(tan2x)= 2sec2xtanx

but the super-heavyweights see that little bit extra

how far did you see?
(Rhetorical Question)
