Hi could someone help me out with question 9 and 13a) and b) please. I've attached some working, for 9 I know I have to consider energy but I'm not sure where to go next. I've attached what I've drawn for 13 but again I'm not sure where to go next.( see lower down for attachments)

Sure.

All you need to do is use

v=u+atv=u + at

and you know what v, a and t are.

Thanks! What about B? I know it must be when j = 0 but I'm not sure what equation to form

"Parallel to i" just means that, at that point in time, P is going in the same direction as i. In other words, it's not going up/down any kind of "slope"

Can you use the same method as in a) to create an equation to solve for t?

I would love to help but seen as though you haven't indicated what the question is asking that is impossible. Also I'm guessing this is M2?

Sorry it's the questions from the first message of the thread but they're here. I've attached my working for question 9 but I'm not sure where to go next. For 13b I do 't really know where to start. I think it is mostly m2, it's pre course work for university that I have to complete and these are the last two questions that I have to do.
